“My father's home was not easy to gather comps on in the Athens area. While it is a great house, it is old and needs updating. With 7 of the 9 "owners" living out of town, it was not easy to do repairs, or do much "getting ready to market". Paul was very honest with us from the beginning that there it might be hard to find the right person for the house. We had other offers, but I appreciate Paula's input each time we had an offer. While we were all ready to close on the house, she certainly did not rush us into taking the first contract we had and was very patient to find the right buyer for the house. I think the other 8 in the family will agree with me that we are all very pleased with the sale and also with Paula as our realtor.”

“My family had originally bought the property through Robinson Realty in 1978. The agency has a high level of regard throughout our county, and Paula Scarbrough has a reputation for kind consideration, critical thought, and patience with clients who may need greater advice in considering the marketing of the property. All of these factors were important to my sister and me when we were faced with the need to sell the property. Paula made the whole process incredibly easy for both of us. She worked with two heirs, both who lived out of town (I live out of state) as well as a third party co-manager of the estate. She communicated compassionately and effectively with us all and was quick and effective in marketing the property. Amazingly, the property was on the market for mere hours when we got an offer, which we countered and eventually reached an agreement both sellers and buyers appreciated. I really believe we would not have had such a positive outcome for a previously unforeseen transaction had we worked with anyone else. Paula was a servant leader for all concerned, and she truly made everyone in the business transaction happy. She's the best there is at what she does! All aspects of the sale were very easy and considerate. Paula knew the area well, so she had a good idea of what she would be selling and what was expected. “I was overwhelmed at getting everything done and selling my house. I didn't know what to expect. The first time I met Pauls Scarbrough she put me at ease and walked me through what I needed to do. Also,later on when I had a bad experience with a contractor whom I consider to be a con man because of poor work done at my house she told me to tell him I didn't need any more work done to sell the house. He was very pushy and thought I was an easy mark. When I told him she said he could call her if he had a problem with it he didn't like it but he left and didn't come back.
